Bel was taught how to weld by her father on their family farm in North West NSW and fell in love with both the raw aesthetic properties of steel and the strong sculptural form it affords.
Her signature style is characterised by a juxtaposition between the minimalism of her materials, straight mild steel rod; and ornate pattern detailing which is influenced by the gumtrees that surround her home.
Each of Bel’s pieces is unique, designed in the moment of making in her workshop in Alexandria, and are a celebration of raw materials.
Topped with sustainably grown Bamboo & Blackbutt.
Designed to stand or hang alone, or as a vessel for drying flowers.
